Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) protects HostingBuY customers, infrastructure and third parties. It applies to all HostingBuY services, hosted content, traffic, applications, scripts, databases, mail and activity performed through a HostingBuY account.

1. Lawful use

Services may be used only for lawful purposes. Customers must comply with applicable law, court orders and binding regulatory requirements and must not use HostingBuY to facilitate or conceal unlawful conduct.

2. Child sexual abuse and exploitation

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, trafficking of minors and any content or service facilitating such abuse are strictly prohibited. Credible indications may result in immediate isolation or suspension, evidence preservation and reporting to competent authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law.

3. Fraud, phishing and deceptive activity

  • Phishing, credential harvesting and impersonation intended to deceive users.
  • Online scams, advance-fee fraud, investment fraud, fake shops or fraudulent support services.
  • Identity theft, payment-card fraud, carding, sale of stolen credentials or stolen financial data.
  • Ponzi, pyramid or other fraudulent financial schemes.

4. Malware and attacks

  • Malware, ransomware, spyware, credential stealers, botnets or command-and-control infrastructure.
  • Unauthorized access, exploitation, brute-force attacks, malicious scanning or password attacks.
  • DDoS attacks, traffic amplification or infrastructure intended to disrupt third-party systems.
  • Distribution of malicious code or knowingly maintaining a compromised service after notice.

5. Spam and messaging abuse

Unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, spamvertised websites, abusive mailing lists, forged headers, address harvesting and similar messaging abuse are prohibited. Legitimate mailing requires appropriate consent, accurate sender information and a functional opt-out where legally required.

6. Intellectual-property infringement

Customers may not use HostingBuY for systematic or knowing infringement of copyright, trademarks, software licences or other intellectual-property rights. HostingBuY may act on sufficiently substantiated infringement notices and repeated serious infringement may result in suspension or termination.

7. Illegal gambling and regulated activity

Unlicensed or unlawful gambling, betting, lotteries or gaming services are prohibited. Services involving financial, medical, pharmaceutical, weapons, controlled goods or other regulated activities must have every licence and authorization required for the target market and hosting location.

8. Criminal marketplaces and prohibited trade

Services used to sell or facilitate illegal drugs, illegal weapons, stolen goods, forged documents, stolen data, access credentials, hacking services or other criminal products or services are prohibited.

9. Terrorism, violent crime and exploitation

Operational support, recruitment, fundraising or instruction for terrorist organizations or violent criminal activity is prohibited. HostingBuY may restrict content where required by law or a competent authority.

10. Privacy abuse and harmful disclosure

Doxxing, unlawful disclosure of confidential or personal data, stalking infrastructure, non-consensual intimate imagery and services primarily designed to facilitate serious privacy violations are prohibited.

11. Resource abuse and incompatible workloads

Shared hosting may not be used in a manner that persistently consumes unreasonable CPU, memory, I/O, process, mail or network resources or materially affects other customers. Unauthorized cryptocurrency mining, public open proxies, Tor exit nodes, abusive crawling/scanning, storage-only file dumps or other workloads technically unsuitable for the package may be restricted unless expressly approved.

12. Security obligations

Customers must take reasonable steps to secure websites and applications. HostingBuY may isolate compromised accounts, malicious files or vulnerable applications that present an active risk.

13. Enforcement

Depending on severity, HostingBuY may warn the Customer, disable specific content, rate-limit traffic, isolate an account, suspend service or terminate service. Serious abuse may be suspended immediately without prior notice.

14. Investigation and reporting

HostingBuY may preserve logs and relevant evidence, request information and cooperate with upstream providers, payment providers, rights holders and competent authorities where legally permitted or required. Where conduct reasonably appears criminal, HostingBuY may report the matter or file a criminal complaint with the competent authorities.

15. Reporting abuse

Abuse reports should contain the affected domain or IP address, relevant URLs, timestamps, a clear description and supporting evidence where available. False or knowingly misleading reports may be disregarded.
